Anchor Drill Bit

Description
Anchor drill bit is an important component of drilling. It is fixed at the bottom of a casing or drill rod. This type of products includes casing bit and three-wing bit. Hard alloy, clad sheet or diamond is inlaid on the top. This product makes the drilling easier. It has impressive efficiency. In digging operation, the drill bit rotates along with vertical shaft and makes axial movement at the same time. The soil is cut by the bits torque and axial force. The soil is crushed by the extrusion force and centrifugal force of the blade and forms earth flow pressing the wall of the pit. The earth flow rises to the ground.

1. The screw on the anchor drill bit controls the rate of chip removal. Low spiral bits are used in the applications where high cutting speeds are traditionally used. The material has a tendency to gall on the bit or otherwise clog the hole, such as aluminum or copper.
2. The point angle or the angle formed at the tip of the drill bit is determined by the material the bit will be drilling in.
3. Harder materials require a larger point angle, and softer materials require a sharper angle.
4. The lip angle determines the amount of support provided to the cutting edge.
5. The length of the anchor drill bit determines how deep a hole can be drilled. It also determines the hardness of the bit and accuracy of the finished hole.
